Has God Rejected Israel for Good?

We come to chapter 11 where Paul combines both God’s sovereignty and man’s responsibility with respect to the nation of Israel. In this chapter Paul will ask two questions that many may ask because of Israel’s rejection of Jesus as the Messiah. Paul begins by helping us with solid theology and ends with a marvelous doxology. 

God will accomplish his for redemption. 

Question # 1: Has his people Israel? 

I ask, then, has God rejected his people? By no means! Romans 11:1a

Question #2: Has Israel so as to fall ? 

So I ask, did they stumble in order that they might fall? By no means! Romans 11:11a

  1. Worship Him for his amazing grace. 
  2. Pray for the lost, both Gentiles and Jews.
  3. Speak to the lost about Jesus. 
  4. Look with anticipation for the return of Jesus.
