Chapter 8 is one of the most beloved chapters in all of the Bible. For Paul takes us from the struggles with the Law and the law of sin and death, and as a result of being justified by faith and regenerated into new creatures, he tells us that we no longer live by our flesh, but we are to live in the power of the Holy Spirit. Paul is telling us there is to be a new way to live now that we are in Christ Jesus.

If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you. Romans 8:10-11

So then, brothers, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. For if you live according to the flesh you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. Romans 8:12-13

How Do I Know If I Have The Holy Spirit Dwelling In Me?
- Has the Holy Spirit led me to a relationship with Jesus?
- Is the Holy Spirit leading me to honor and obey Jesus?
- Is the Holy Spirit transforming my life to be like Jesus?
- Is the Holy Spirit active in convicting me of sin, comforting me in times of discouragement, convincing me that I am a child of God, and cultivating my heart to love God more?
